In years past for Grandparents Day, I have often turned to a classic favorite, painted flower pots. This year, my youngest granddaughter and I worked together on a special gift for her grandmother, who has a beautiful garden and adores plants. It’s a wonderful way to create memories together while crafting something meaningful.
Paint a Pot – Create a Keepsake Gift Full of Love!
You can’t go wrong when you take a little time to jazz up a simple clay pot, add some bright blooms, and pour in a whole lot of love. All you need are a few basic acrylic paints, a terracotta pot and saucer (optional), some soil, and seeds or plants if you want to speed things up.

Steps to Create Your Painted Pot
1. Paint the Base
Start by covering the brown pot with white paint or any color you choose for the background. Let it dry completely. This step is especially important if your pot is old or mismatched, as it gives you a fresh canvas to work on.
